Have you ever desired a change in anything? I want you to know it’s not when you see that changes take place that it really happens. The change begins the first time you speak to the situation. A Pastor once said, I remember the time we prayed in church and asked for a thousand members and as at that time, we were just three hundred people then. We led the whole congregation in prayer for a thousand members. For a period of time, we were still about the same number, but we knew we had those one thousand members right from when we prayed. They didn’t immediately appear in the pews after we prayed that day but we saw them there with the eyes of faith. Every member was inspired to make a change by winning souls into the church and when they started coming, they poured in like a flood. The believer is not someone who sees things with his optical eyes before he acknowledges and says them. He’s someone who acknowledges and declares those things he desires ever before there’s any sign of their physical manifestation. Do you know that makes some people angry? When you start declaring good things from God’s Word about yourself, they’ll ask you, “What makes you think you deserve to have that? Why are you talking as if you own the whole world?” You should answer them, “Of course, I own the world. Don’t you know who my Father is? He’s Jehovah God!” They can throw up tantrums and hit their head against a brick wall for all you care, it still doesn’t change the truth of who you are and what you have in Christ. God is counting on you to make a change in your sphere of contact. He is expecting you to do His no. 1 job and that is soul winning. When you do what makes God happy, He ensures changes are made in your personal life. You can change any situation by doing what He has instructed (Matthew 28:19-20).
