![]() “…As for us, there’s no question-we can’t keep quiet about what we’ve seen and heard” (Acts 4:17-20 MSG). The devil has never wanted the gospel of Christ preached and has been trying all means to stop it. He doesn’t want people to hear what Jesus has done for them and that’s why we have to tell everybody that the Word worksI once heard R. W. Schambach tell of his first experience in casting out demons. He commanded the demons in a lady to come out of her but they adamantly refused to leave. Defiant, the demons said to Schambach, “We’re not coming out and we’ll wear you out.” “We don’t wear out, devil” replied Schambach. I want you to note that he didn’t say, “You will not wear me out.” His statement is another way of saying, “We belong to a class that cannot be worn out.” We’re special, unique and different from the kind of beings that could be worn out. Then he went on to say, “My elder brother Jesus defeated you on Calvary and He put His foot on your neck.” As he said that, the demon shouted, “Don’t say that!” but he said it again in spite of the demon’s protest. Finally, the demon said, “Alright, I know I am defeated, but please don’t tell everybody.” According to R.W. Schambach, he made up his mind to tell the whole world that Jesus has defeated the devil. This is what the Lord anointed His children to do. The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:13-14). You must realize that you’re the preacher in your world; your home, office, class or neighbourhood. You can’t afford to fold your arms and not do anything, while those around you continue on the hopeless journey of destruction, bondage, sickness and poverty. God has anointed you to deliver men from the bondage of the enemy, therefore it’s high time you be about your heavenly Father’s business, for many more need the message.

![]() Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word” (Psalm 119:114). People are discovering today that the systems and institutions of the world in which they felt secure, are not as full proof as they thought. Fraud, terrorist attacks, wars and rumors of wars have put the so-called ‘world peace’ under constant threat. Natural disasters and outbreak of new diseases that defy medical science are constant reminders that there’s little or no hope in the world in these times of great distress. But thank God that irrespective of what the situation may be, there’s hope in the Word for you today. The reason most folks only experience the ‘bad’ of the land is that that’s all they see. When you spend more time reading newspapers and junk magazines instead of God’s Word, of course that’s all you’ll see! “Twelve shot dead.” “Fifty killed in boat mishap.” “Two hundred and seventy perish in plane crash.” Terrible, but the Bible says there’s good in the land; “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah1:19). Irrespective of what your situation may be, the Word of God will always remain the same; it’ll never change. You may be living in the poorest nations of the world, however the Bible says there’s plenty of good right there for you to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17). Moreover, you must be born again in order to qualify for the good of the land. You can have hope in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. So don’t look down, cheer up! Don’t think death, think life. ![]() Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word” (Psalm 119:114). We’re soldiers for Christ and we can’t involve ourselves in civilian affairs and please God at the same time. We must stand as soldiers upon this earth doing our Father’s job. As long as you do your Father’s job, you will be happy. But when you don’t, there will be a lack of warmth and joy in your life. It doesn’t matter how rich you are, or how many friends you have, you can never really be happy except you do the job of your Father; and that’s bringing God’s Word alive to people around you, touching them with the Word of God and winning souls into His Kingdom. It’s high time we got uncomfortable ignoring sinners around us and coming to church to warm our pews. We have to reach them with the gospel; let’s reach them with the life of God in us! It’s time we got excited and went about our Father’s business! You must make up your mind today, tell yourself, “ I’m going to do my Father’s job and do it well.” Don’t go about it sloppily. The Bible says in Romans 12:11 not to be slothful in business, but fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. Be hardworking; determine in your heart that you’re going to achieve great things for the Lord. There are things God has spoken to you about that He wants you to do. This is your opportunity to do them. The time is now, there will be no better time. ![]() Growth is not a miracle; there can be a miracle in growth, but growth itself is not a miracle. Growth is the right application of revealed principles and means. This means, anybody could have definite growth in any endeavor. This is akin to the application of natural laws; they work every time, irrespective of who is applying them. This is why there can be growth in anything, whether or not it’s being championed by a Christian. It’s also why both Christians and non-Christians can have a lot of money. If you will discover the revealed principles and means and apply them, you can achieve definite growth. It’s also important to note that you don’t pray about growth; you do it. For example, it doesn’t matter for how long you pray that your body should become big; you’ll never get big by prayer. This is because God already revealed the principles and means for growing your body. If you don’t follow those principles and means, it will not happen. You will be asking God to violate His Word, and He does not violate His Word. So, if you desire to grow financially, spiritually, or numerically; it’s not going to be a miracle. There are definite revealed principles and means to be applied, and if you will apply them, they will work every time. Take advantage of this revealed principles in winning souls into the kingdom of God, it's your responsibility. Have you ever desired a change in anything? I want you to know it’s not when you see that changes take place that it really happens. The change begins the first time you speak to the situation. A Pastor once said, I remember the time we prayed in church and asked for a thousand members and as at that time, we were just three hundred people then. We led the whole congregation in prayer for a thousand members. For a period of time, we were still about the same number, but we knew we had those one thousand members right from when we prayed. They didn’t immediately appear in the pews after we prayed that day but we saw them there with the eyes of faith. Every member was inspired to make a change by winning souls into the church and when they started coming, they poured in like a flood. The believer is not someone who sees things with his optical eyes before he acknowledges and says them. He’s someone who acknowledges and declares those things he desires ever before there’s any sign of their physical manifestation. Do you know that makes some people angry? When you start declaring good things from God’s Word about yourself, they’ll ask you, “What makes you think you deserve to have that? Why are you talking as if you own the whole world?” You should answer them, “Of course, I own the world. Don’t you know who my Father is? He’s Jehovah God!” They can throw up tantrums and hit their head against a brick wall for all you care, it still doesn’t change the truth of who you are and what you have in Christ. God is counting on you to make a change in your sphere of contact. He is expecting you to do His no. 1 job and that is soul winning. When you do what makes God happy, He ensures changes are made in your personal life. You can change any situation by doing what He has instructed (Matthew 28:19-20). ![]() For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.........Proverbs 23:7 To have a movement, you must have convictions. Without convictions, you cannot sustain a movement neither can you remain a part of it. As a Christian, you must have convictions based on the principles of God’s Word. A conviction is a mental attitude. When you’re convicted about your beliefs, you are controlled and compelled by it and all your actions are based on it because it inundates your whole mental attitude. A Christian with convictions will never watch his live remain the same or fluctuate in what he believes. If you thought you had convictions and this has been your experience, you’ve assumed wrongly; what you have are not yet convictions. If you really had convictions, you’d be constantly propelled by them and never find yourself in such a situation. You can’t possibly be convicted about the message of the Gospel and relax while watching the devil play with the lives of God's children. It’s impossible to have convictions and do nothing at the same time. The reason you're do all that you're doing today is because of your convictions. All over the world christians are increasing because of the conviction of the Gospel. Are you convicted about this Gospel? ![]() Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few (Mathew 9:37) These eternal words of the Lord Jesus are as true today as they were nearly two thousand years ago when He uttered them. With a world population of over seven billion people, many of whom have never even heard about Jesus, let alone knowing He died for them, preaching the gospel is of utmost importance in our generation. While many of us talk about the second coming of Christ, there are millions who aren’t aware He had come a first time! Take up the challenge of the harvest and be a labourer in God’s vineyard; telling the untold the good news of Christ’s salvation. You can let the nations look beautiful to you, and reach them for Christ. The challenge of the harvest is actually worldwide and until God makes the lives of men and women beautiful in your eyes, you’ll never be able to comprehend their true value. When it dawns on you that every sinner in the world is worth the blood of Jesus, you’ll passionately preach the gospel with everything at your disposal. I urge you today to get involved big-time in evangelizing the world for Jesus. Everyone needs to hear and receive the wonderful news of the glorious life Christ has brought. Don’t relent in your soul-winning efforts until the knowledge of Christ’s salvation covers the whole earth as the waters cover the sea. Let winning the lost to Jesus becomes your heartbeat and number one passion in life. May God make the souls of men and women all over the world, who are yet to receive Christ beautiful in your eyes, as you take up the challenge of the harvest. ![]() What is your desire for the Church of God, are you a partaker of the gospel to ensure the Church is multiplying tremendously? If your answer is yes, then you are fulfilling the mandate God has given. Some people still see the church as small groups of religious people scattered here and there, but It shouldn't be. You have to see mega-churches that are shaking the entire cities and nations for The Lord God Almighty. Do you know why? We are in the last days and the devil knows it. As Christians, we've got what the world needs, as long as you're in a neighborhood, city, state or country, you are what the people there need. When you arrive on the scene, people should ask you where have you been all their lives?’ God has come to live in us for this purpose and that is why you must preach the Gospel everywhere you are. This is a divine responsibility that must be carried out by you. A Christian that is not fruitful is living below his calling, because the bible describes the Christian as fruitful and productive. So you must be fruitful at all times, because whatever God is involved with always produces fruit. When you look at your life, see increase, see multiplication, see productivity. See yourself birthing new ideas, new strategies to win the lost souls into God’s Kingdom. This is God's ultimate desire for you. ![]() The things you do with a heart of love are the things which have value in the sight of God. God loved us so much that He was compelled to send Jesus as a sacrifice to make us His own. Throughout Jesus’ ministry on earth, He ministered to the sick and preached with so much compassion. Now, He has put us on the scene with the mandate to take the Gospel to every city on earth. The question is this: are we compelled to fulfill this obligation with a ‘love-heart’? As a Christian, why do you preach? Do you really care about lost souls? Can you look into the cities around you and see the sufferings in their faces, and hear their souls cry out for salvation? Preach the gospel because you are compelled by His love! When you think about what He did for you, you are compelled; you cannot but preach it. Paul said, "For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel" (1 Corinthians 9:16). From the verse of scripture, Paul did not allow anything stop him from soul winning. You are not yet a true soul winner until love compels you to bend your knees in intercession and become strategic in winning your world for God. You cannot save lives if you are not compassionate about it. You can be good and help people all over, that is nothing to God if you were not compelled by love. He is only impressed by the things we do with a passionate heart. ‘A love-heart’ is what makes you a true soul winner, bearing meaningful results for the Kingdom of God. |
