Soul winning is God’s number one job. It’s so important to Him that He sent Jesus to the earth as a soul winner and not as a President, Senator, Engineer, etc. Jesus knew how important it was to His Father and He took it very seriously. Even when He was physically tired and needed rest, the opportunity to share the gospel with the Samaritan woman was enough to make Him forget His hunger and tiredness. This was why He said to His disciples, “The food that keeps me going is that I do the will of the One who sent me, finishing the work he started” (John 4:34 MSG)
This is the dispensation of grace when God is calling men and women to repent and believe the gospel. Nothing ought to be more important to you as a child of God than reaching others with the gospel of Christ’s salvation. Do it now, for the time is short, the Lord is counting on you. This is the day of salvation; this is the season of the end-time harvest; the best time ever to win souls. We need to realize that we may not always have the opportunity to win souls. Jesus knew He had a time-limit in the earth so He maximized it by being an effective soul winner. This is the same thing He expects from us; we ought to recognize that the responsibility of telling others about the gospel of Christ’s salvation has been entrusted to us and we must perform this task while it is day. The time is very short; we have only a limited time in which to evangelize the whole world before the Master returns. That’s why you have to win souls now. Live as though each day were the last day before Jesus returns. That’s the kind of urgency with which we must preach the gospel.

We have the power to change our society by changing the lives of individual men and women in it. We must preach the gospel at all cost because it has the power to change a man’s heart permanently. All of God’s power required to help and change a man is wrapped up in the gospel.
When a man gives his life to Christ, he’s given another heart and the Lord will cause Him to walk in the right path (Ezekiel 36:26-27). A thief, for example, will remain a thief until his heart is changed. There’s no external factor or correction that can change who he is inside, except the truth of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the same vein, the man who is wicked and heartless would become kind, considerate, cultured and willing to help others when he receives the new life in Christ Jesus through the gospel. The governments of various countries all over the world have been trying their best to stop corruption, crime, violence and other social vices. Many of them have realized that in spite of their effort, they cannot permanently deal with these societal menaces. The only thing that can stop this problem permanently is the Word of God. As a Christian, our responsibility is to win people through the gospel, the thieves will stop their stealing; the violent men will lay down their weapons and corruption in the society will be a thing of the past. The more people are won to the Lord Jesus, the better the society will be. Let’s change the world with the word of God, depopulate the kingdom of darkness and radiating the glorious Light of God's Kingdom in our society.
When you received the Holy Spirit, He brought the anointing into your life which would make you do more than speak in tongues and prophesy. There is a special anointing which He brings, it’s about time Christians all around the world take advantage of it. In Hebrew, it is called, ‘Mimshach’, which means to spread, to expand. This anointing causes everything you do to multiply and expand beyond your immediate sphere of contact.
God wants you to recognize this anointing and allow it function through you. This is your time to expand! The anointing and grace for your increase and expansion is upon your life; therefore, it’s time for you to go all out to expand the church and grow beyond what your mind can imagine. It’s time for overflows to burst forth and Start making plans for the greater and higher level you want to function in. This Is your season of expansion; the Mimshach anointing is working in you!
For example, the Bible says that Isaac sowed in the time of famine, (a time when it was naturally impossible for harvest). Yet he received in the same year, an hundred fold (Genesis 26:12-15). Others sowed beside Isaac and got no crop, yet Isaac reaped a miraculous harvest at the time when the natural conditions favorable for harvest were absent. This is how it ought to be in your life.
Always, be conscious of the Anointing and the supernatural abilities working in your life. Play your part by sowing your seeds of winning souls into the kingdom and depopulating the kingdom of darkness. Don’t live by the principles of this world, for you are not among them. Your harvest is now; your miracle is now. Go ahead and sow your seeds and the Lord will multiply it. Be it soul winning seed, seeds of prayer, or seeds of faith-confessions- this is the hour of your harvest! Begin to relate with your harvest by faith. Hallelujah! Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
As a child of God, you must be passionate about soul-winning; it must burn in your heart to take the Gospel to the lost. You’re the custodian of the Gospel. It’s therefore your divine responsibility to publish it around the world. When you understand that Jesus is the only way, you’ll stand up for the Gospel. The psalmist David said, “Send us around the world with the news of your saving power...” (Psalm 67:2 TLB). In David’s day, the Gospel hadn’t been fully made manifest, but he had insight into the revelation of Christ the Messiah. The time hadn’t come and the redemptive work of Christ hadn’t been consummated, but Christ now has come. He has died and has risen, and now lives in our hearts. Halleluiah! No Christian is left out of the instruction to preach the Gospel. It should be your passion! Fuel your passion for the Gospel. Keep preaching and talking to others about Jesus. Discuss the Gospel continually with those who are. Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. When you have the Word burning in you, you can't keep quiet about it; it will rise up to the surface and you’ll find yourself preaching the gospel to everyone around you. The gospel is the only saving power in the world today; it’s the answer and solution the world needs. Our Lord Jesus has committed the gospel to our trust and many will never hear it except through you. This is the reason you have to go around your world preaching the Gospel. It's not just a religious act! Christianity is not a religion; it's about The Lord Jesus Christ and His living message. The Bible tells us in Act 1:11 that he would come back one day, very soon. So it's your responsibility to ensure that everyone in your world receives the Gospel and enjoys the life that you’ve received in Christ - eternal life. Don't be quiet, your voice needs to be heard. Jesus said in Mark 16:15, ‘...Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.’ The realization that Jesus died for the salvation of the world and yet some still haven't heard about Him, should motivate you to tell everyone about Jesus. As a Christian, you should be actively involved in world evangelism. Be completely ‘sold out’ to ensuring the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ reaches the ends of the earth. Today, several millions of people in all the continents of the world are reached through television, internet, and print media. However, everything today was only a dream years ago. You are encouraged today; don’t lose your dream of growing your church to be far bigger and greater than what it is now. Keep your dream alive irrespective of the situations around you that may seem to be unfavorable. A beautiful story of a young boy by name Joseph is an example to emulate. He was about the last born of many brothers and had dreams that all his brothers, and his parents bowed to him, Though he was rebuked and scorned, he still kept his dreams in his heart, He was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely imprisoned, nevertheless he refused to let go of his dream. He kept helping everyone and became a lifter of people even when he was ill-treated, and God rewarded him. Joseph became the greatest man in Egypt, second only to the Pharaoh. His brothers did bow to him, confirming his dream. Where you are today was a dream several years back and you can only seize your future when you're already dreaming of it. There’s enough power in you to bring those glorious dreams of the gospel to pass. Keep the fire burning and the flame alive for this Gospel. Has it ever occurred to you that even if all the church venues in a city were packed wall to wall, there would still be more people beyond the church walls? This means we should be excited about platforms that amplify our gospel beyond the church walls! Just as you are not physically restrained inside a church building, we must not restrain the gospel to within the church building. Each of us must take the gospel to greater heights and make the gospel a means or instrument of flight and progress. Wherever you go, the gospel should go. Wherever there are people, the gospel must get there. Just like the air can't be restricted, so also the gospel must not be restricted! There’s no country in the world that bans air; it is required for existence. Even more so the gospel! It is the ingredient required for life–the real life! Every available platforms should be used to propagate and transport the gospel (The media, mobile, web and various other publications). These are remarkable tools for reaching online and physical communities beyond the church walls. There is an urgency and now is the time, because He is coming back very soon. He is depending on you. The most valuable assets on earth are not the fancy cars, airplanes, exotic buildings or physical structures; it’s human beings. The Bible says, for God so loved the world, not the world of things, but the world of men, that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us and show us our value (John 3:16}. You’re valuable to God; that’s why He doesn’t want you sick or poor. He wants you well, happy, and prosperous.
God expects you to value others the same way He values you. It’s easy to tell whether or not you love people from the way you talk to them. If at any time you’ve despised someone, you ought to fall on your knees in repentance before the Lord and ask Him to forgive you. Understand that no matter how famous or successful you may be, having value and true regard for people is what counts with God. Be a great preacher, move around and ensure you are a soul winner for the kingdom reaching your world and placing value on people showcasing who they really are in Christ. He’s only impressed by the compassion we have and show to the people around us. He’s impressed by the love you show to those for whom Jesus died; that is what makes us true soul winners, and true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35). As a Christian, it is important to always remember you were sent by God. The Gospel you preach today was not your idea, neither was evangelism, soul winning, or Church growth. None of us suggested to God that we should win souls here on earth, or requested that Jesus come and save us.
This means everything we do today is all His idea! God has a plan to save the world, and He has made you a part of that plan. If this is so, can you trust Him totally by following His Word and instructions to guide you successfully through life and ministry? Can you trust that He is big enough to do what He said He will do through you? Do you trust that He is wise enough to know everything about you? Do you trust that He already knew everything you would need to be fulfilled in life and ministry, and provided it all? If you study the Word, you will see how God fulfilled His ministry through the people He called. And you are not any different; He has put everything in place to make you successful in Ministry and in life. Remember, it was His idea to give us the Holy Spirit! The Lord is saying today, “All I need is a willing vessel, and if you will be that vessel, I will work through you to accomplish great things. You will never need to struggle. You don’t even need to try; trust Me wholly and I will make you what I want you to be.” |
