For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17
Having received so much from God, you can’t afford to sit in one spot without making an impact in your sphere of contact. Put the grace of God in your life to work because the above verse of scripture shows that there is abundance of Grace to take advantage of. See visions of yourself using that grace to do great exploits and receiving testimonies in your life. This grace is bountiful and overflowing, when you picture the sufficiency of it, fix your mind on it and speak forth words to take you there such as, “Father, I believe, I put the grace of God on me to work and I collect all the grace necessary in helping me and my journey in life. When you pray, see yourself changing your world because It’s a reflection of the grace of God upon you. The ability to do so much more is already in you. Fulfill God's vision for your life and bring it to pass. Put the grace to work in your life and take full authority of it. Don’t be slothful, Let the Spirit of God open your eyes to continually see the things He desires for you to accomplish for Him in Jesus name, Amen.

whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you. Hitherto, have ye asked nothing in my name: ask and ye shall receive, that your joy maybe full” (John 16:23-24).
The day that Jesus spoke of is not a twenty-four hour day, but a dispensation, a season, a set time in which you could make requests and receive answers to your prayers. Thanks be unto God, this is the set time. We have come into that day that Jesus was referring to. We have the privilege of being able to pray and receive answers instantly. It is the Father’s delight to answer your prayers; it is His good pleasure to give you the wonderful treasures of the kingdom (Luke12:32). Therefore never doubt His willingness to answer you speedily when you pray. He has ordained you to receive answers to your prayers that your joy maybe full, therefore go ahead and make your request known to the Father, and He will grant you the desires of your heart. As Christians, we’re the first examples of the life we’ve received in Christ to the people around us. It’s not enough for us to preach and teach from the Word; we are living epistles of the Gospel and our lives must radiate the glory of God’s Word in us, to those around us.
The prophets wrote so much about the Messiah, and Jesus fulfilled every single prophecy – He lived beyond the written pages of the books. The Word goes beyond the letters; it’s meant to be alive and to minister life to people. This was why God wasn’t pleased with the scribes, pharisees and doctors of the Law. They didn’t practice what they preached and there was no life in what they taught. When Jesus picked up the same Scriptures these folks taught, the words leapt out of the books, so much so that many people were amazed at His doctrine and testified that He spoke as one with authority (Mark 1:22). Jesus showed God alive in His days on earth; so did the apostles, and their works recorded in the Scriptures are a testimony. Reveal the Lord in you to your world today. Let the Word so dominate you that your life becomes a living epistle!
As you meditate on the Word, there is a transformation, a metamorphosis that takes place in your life. For example, if a poor person keeps at studying and confessing the Word regarding his inheritance and riches in Christ, his life will be compelled to go in that direction. That is the transforming ability of God’s Word; it comes to you with the capacity and power to make you exactly what it says.
If you desire a change, don’t despair. Get into the Word and locate the Scriptures that deal with that situation and begin to meditate on them. There will be a transformation; a positive change will be effected in your life! My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.... Hosea 4:6
Sad as this may sound, it’s true nonetheless! God’s people suffer in life, not because they don’t pray enough or love God enough, but because they lack accurate and adequate knowledge of the Word. Reiterating this, the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 22:29, “...Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures....” When people lack accurate and relevant spiritual information from God’s Word, they experience defeat and failure. This isn’t because they’re “weak” Christians or because God couldn’t deliver them; it’s just the plain and inevitable result of ignorance. In the lives of some people, things aren’t just happening the way they should; they’re putting in all the efforts they could, yet nothing productive is coming out. What’s the problem? Ignorance: they know not, neither do they understand; they walk on in darkness.....(Ps 82:5), destroyed by sickness and plummeted by the harsh elements of this world. Is this the lot for the Christian? Emphatically no! The Bible declares, “...but through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Proverbs 11:9). If you have knowledge, there’ll be a difference in your life. The knowledge of God’s Word will build you up, and deliver your God-given inheritance into your hands (Acts 20:32). If you’ve been wondering why your experiences haven’t been as victorious as the Word describes, you need to spend more time studying and meditating on the Word. Build your faith with the Word of God, for faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). As the Word comes to you, don’t just agree by way of mental assent, respond by confessing the same things. Soon enough, you’ll change the situation. As a child of God, endurance is a quality that God expects you to cultivate. He doesn’t want you to jump and run at the slightest sign of challenging situations. This was why Paul counseled Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:3 to endure hardness as a good soldier of Christ.
God never said we wouldn’t face opposition and persecution, but He assured us that He’ll be with us always. This should be our confidence as we face the tough situations and opposition which comes with the preaching of the Gospel. There are people who give up too soon, because they haven’t learnt to stick with a situation or process till they win. In 2 Corinthians 11:23-25 TLB, Paul said, “I have…been put in jail more often, whipped times without number, faced death again and again and again. Five different times the Jews gave me their terrible thirty-nine lashes. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I was in the open sea all night and the whole next day. Yet, none of these things move me”. Despite all Paul faced, he never gave up; he remained strong. Challenges and tough situations are for your promotion, therefore don’t pack up and run whenever they show up. God has given you the strength and courage to endure every contrary situation. Let your endurance be mixed with hope so you can create a better future right in the midst of the storm. I don’t know what challenges you may be facing today; whatever it is, don’t complain. Be encouraged to endure with hope and always remember 2 Corinthians 4:17 which tells us that “… our light affliction, which is for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” The Bible says, “…and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon Samson and he picked up the jaw bone of an ass and whipped one thousand men” (Judges 15:16). And when that same Spirit came upon David; He caught the lion that attacked his sheep by the beard and slew it. He didn’t have to go behind the lion (1 Sam 17:35). Still under that anointing, when he faced Goliath, he said: “this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them” (1 Sam 17:36).
As a Christian, you're not in a sinking boat, neither are you living a life of defeat. That same Spirit that worked with Moses, Samson and with David; that Spirit that came upon Elijah, Elisha, Paul, and the Apostles; that same Spirit is the One by whom you function. When you are influenced of the Spirit, you cannot be discouraged or dismayed. Do not struggle, nor should you wonder how it shall be done, for the Lord is adding to the Church such as should be saved. The Anointing of God protects you and His influence in you brings confidence and acceptability. Anything you do for the Lord will be acceptable to Him and your world will be impacted.
As a Christian, your words must always give people’s lives value. Those that come in contact with you should leave your presence refreshed in their spirits. Remember that reaching people is God’s priority and that’s what you’re living for. Therefore, take time to listen to yourself. Consider your choice of words and make the relevant changes today.
Christianity is for the tough minded. You may be facing a very tough situation at home - no money for school fees, and so on; or it may be for a project needing monetary attention and the funds required seem to be far from you, yet you have the Holy Ghost.
The Bible says, ‘Christ hath been made unto us wisdom…’ That means there’s a divine knowledge about how to get the money that you require to accomplish these things. There is divine wisdom available; the Excellency of knowledge is at work in you. God knows exactly where that money is and how it would come to you. So what do you do? Begin to speak in other tongues; stir up wisdom within you and then start to say - I receive wisdom to get the money; I refuse to be broke; I give no place to the devil! He has brought us into a wealthy place, Hallelujah! How could we be broke, when we’re joint- heirs with Christ? It’s not possible! Stir up wisdom within your spirit today, for Christ, who has been made unto us wisdom, said, he that follows him, will never walk in darkness, but will have the light to guide him in life. Glory to God! Bitterness and malice are offshoots of unforgiveness. There are folks who say, “I will never forgive so and so for what he did to me.” Others add a different style to it and say, “I have forgiven him for what he did to me, but I don’t think I can forget it.” We ought to encourage ourselves to act like our heavenly Father who never recalls offenses. Malice and bitterness take the shine out of us, and we need to put them away to embrace God’s beauty in our lives. The apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:20, “brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice, be ye children, but in understanding be men.” Babies don’t know how to keep malice; they are too innocent for that. They don’t have any sense to regard or recognize any wrong done to them. And so, the Spirit of God admonishes us to be like babies! Don’t regard the wrongs done to you by others to the extent that you become bitter. Harboring bitterness or malice in your heart short-circuits the power of God in your life, making you unable to function in the Spirit. This was what happened to the Prophet Elisha in 2 Kings 3. When the kings of Israel, Judah and Edom came to inquire of the Lord from him, the Prophet spoke out in anger to the King of Israel: “…as the Lord of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the King of Judah, I would not look towards thee, nor see thee” (2 Kings 3:14). He had to call for a minstrel (a musician) to play, so the anointing could come on him. Elisha was so angry and bitter against the king of Israel that he could not hear what the Spirit was saying. Be admonished today, to completely put away bitterness and malice; give no room for Satan in your life. Sincerely forgive those you hold something against. Do that today; don’t wait till tomorrow. Show them the love of the Father, as the Father has shown you His love through Christ. |
